McCready Project Managers

We are members of the Australian Institute of Project Managers, and Neil McCready is a Registered Building Practitioner.

As the project manager we work closely with the client and other stakeholders to manage and achieve the project objectives.

We have an expertise in the domain of construction, and this enables us to efficiently handle all the aspects of projects in the construction industry, from the refurbishment of estates worth $500,000 to the construction of schools or commercial buildings with budgets over $10M.

Key project management responsibilities include:

Developing the project plans and requirements
Managing and liaising with all the project stakeholders, including all sub consultants.
Managing communication
Managing the project team which may comprise specialist consultants, construction trades, as well as the head contractor.
Reviewing, monitoring, and managing the project risk
Managing the project milestones, activities, and deliverables.
Ensuring the project remains in budget
Managing the project conflicts
Managing the project delivery - on time, every time.

We can carry out inspections of existing properties to provide a feasibility report, to detail all repairs and maintenance required, or provide a recommendation of works required for a full refurbishment.

We will produce a fully costed scope of works, and we can then produce tender documents and obtain quotations from suitably qualified contractors.

Once the job has been let, we will then manage the project to completion ensuring it is on budget, to standard, and on time.

We also carry out Pre-Purchase property inspections, trading as Australian Property Surveyors.
